Description:

During a formatter replacement, the TPM Chip and firmware device (HDD, SSD, eMMC) must be transferred from the original formatter to the new formatter. After replacing, different combinations of the printer’s system recovery, firmware level and TPM status may result in one or more of the following codes in any order:

  • 33.02.01 code (press OK, error will clear and display one of the two errors below)
  • 49.38.07 code
  • 81.09.00 code

The formatter and TPM (trusted platform module) chip encryption need to be unlocked/disabled from the previous Formatter/system and enabled/locked to the new Formatter/system. This procedure may require a firmware update/download via USB Thumbdrive.
