Tech Tip - B5L47-67910 or B5L47-67911 Line on Trailing Edge when Copying

Covers:
– HP Multifunction Non-Flow Models: M527dn/M527f/E52545dn/M528dn/M528f/E52645dn/M577dn/M577f/E57540dn/M578dn/M578f
– HP Multifunction Flow Models: M527c/M527z/E52545c/M528z/E52645c/M577c/M577z/E57540c/M578c/M578z
A line can start to appear on copies made using the ADF assembly (not copies made on the flatbed) on the above models. This occurs when the timing of the ADF speed is off.
Unfortunately, other than the ADF pickup roller/separation pad maintenance kit (which replacing typically would not resolve this issue), HP does not list any replaceable internal ADF components, meaning the entire ADF assembly will need to be replaced (Non-Flow Models: B5L47-67910 / Flow Models: B5L47-67911).
