With the introduction of the HP Enterprise models, HP also released corresponding Managed models for most series. Managed models typically offer enhanced security and usage features through their software. In some cases, they also include hardware additions, such as a locking front door and may use the same or different internal components (formatters, maintenance kits, and supplies).

Despite these differences, Enterprise and Managed counterparts generally share the same chassis and often the same core engine components. In our guide, we’ve marked in red any models that include a standard Trusted Platform Module (TPM). The TPM chip provides additional hardware-level security capabilities.
